But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Agostinho Guedes couldn't finish the play. Guto Tinoco charged in rather forcefully in the 5th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Guto Tinoco the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Paulo Renato Falcão took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Agostinho Guedes, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Amílton Marinho kicked well hit freekick during the 16th minute of the match. Paulo Renato Falcão showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Régis Vides in the 19th minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Guto Tinoco got free with Carlos Marinho in the 20th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 21 minutes 卡納里尼奧 FC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Ramón Paraibano who took care of the corner kick. 26 minutes into the match, 卡納里尼奧 FC's goal looked a bit too open when Guto Tinoco came free, but Carlos Marinho reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The crowd rose to their feet as Callegari's Breno Novaes slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Carlos Marinho. That made the score 1-0 after 28 minutes of play. Paulo Renato Falcão showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Agostinho Guedes, who was totally free with the ball in the 32nd minute. A collision led to Callegari getting a freekick after 33 minutes play. Giuseppe Sanches hit a great ball. In the 37th minute, Gustavo Duarte left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Callegari fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-0. In the 42nd match minute, 卡納里尼奧 FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Eurico Paes to maneuver through the defense. 43 minutes into the match, 卡納里尼奧 FC's goal looked a bit too open when Gustavo Duarte came free, but Carlos Marinho reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 45 minutes, Amílton Marinho mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the 卡納里尼奧 FC and the Callegari players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 45 played minutes 卡納里尼奧 FC got a freekick which was hit by Amílton Marinho. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Agostinho Guedes to strike the kick off in the second half. Breno Novaes scored 3-0 in the 53rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Carlos Marinho, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Callegari's Wesley Faria was substituted for Rony Peixoto. Armandinho Pombal received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. In the 72nd minute, Guto Tinoco got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 79 minutes into the match, Gustavo Duarte notched a goal, 5-1, to the right of 卡納里尼奧 FC's Carlos Marinho. Carlos Marinho was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 82nd match minute, 卡納里尼奧 FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Amílton Marinho to maneuver through the defense. Ramón Paraibano took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 83rd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Carlos Marinho. 卡納里尼奧 FC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Walmir Valladares in the 88th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Carlos Marinho saved 卡納里尼奧 FC from getting behind.
