Jonas de Queirós showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ernani Brito in the 7th minute of the match. When Edinho Reis fell near the penalty area in the 15th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Flying Dutch's protests and gave Edinho Reis a yellow card for diving instead. Edinho Reis kicked well hit freekick during the 16th minute of the match. In the 18th minute, Ernani Brito hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Michel Salgado during the 26th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Flying Dutch booed when Zandarin FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 26 match minutes in a wonderful position. Michel Salgado didn't get a good kick on the ball. It was beautiful to see Flying Dutch's Luan Cearense in action when he in the 28th minute dribbled his way through a couple of opponents and the fired away a shot from almost standing still. First the ball seemed to get in, but turned out to be on the outside of the net. A great chance! The supporters of Flying Dutch booed when Zandarin FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 32 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ernani Brito didn't get a good kick on the ball. Egídio Goiano could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 34th minute of the match, but Raphael de Queiroz made a huge save. Luiz Fernando Peixoto kicked well hit freekick during the 35th minute of the match. Leandro Coutinho took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 36th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Raphael de Queiroz. Zandarin FC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Egídio Goiano got free with Raphael de Queiroz in the 39th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 41 played minutes Zandarin FC got a freekick which was hit by Ernani Brito. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

Ernani Brito received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 51st minute. Jonas de Queirós tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 53rd minute Abelardo Paraibano shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Raphael de Queiroz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Elano Marques fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 55th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jonas de Queirós having to interfere. The supporters of Flying Dutch booed when Zandarin FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 65 match minutes in a wonderful position. Elano Marques didn't get a good kick on the ball. Raphael de Queiroz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Abelardo Paraibano, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 75th minute Egídio Goiano shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Raphael de Queiroz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 80th match minute, Zandarin FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Zézinho Azevedo to maneuver through the defense. 89 minutes into the game, Felippe Cruz cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. Raphael de Queiroz was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After a rather tough play, Zandarin FC's Luiz Fernando Peixoto got a free kick in the 93rd minute. After a defensive mix-up in Zandarin FC's zone, Leandro Coutinho stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Raphael de Queiroz came out of the goal and Leandro Coutinho tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Flying Dutch's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
