After 5 played minutes, Umbrella Corporation's Luís Fábio Veloso shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Conrado Fernandez came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Umbrella Corporation reached it. After 9 played minutes Umbrella Corporation got a freekick which was hit by Leonardo Capixaba. After having played for 10 minutes, Didi Ferreira managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Abutres 2003 FDP's supporters crossed their fingers, but Didi Ferreira was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 14 minutes into the game, Eusébio Machado cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. João Paulo Corrêa was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. João Paulo Corrêa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Eusébio Machado, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 23 minutes into the game, Leonardo Capixaba was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Umbrella Corporation's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Abutres 2003 FDP the free kick. Leonardo Capixaba kicked well hit freekick during the 24th minute of the match. Leonardo Capixaba blasted a shot towards the goal in the 29th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Conrado Fernandez having to make a save. 33 minutes into the game, Sebastião Pimenta was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Umbrella Corporation's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Abutres 2003 FDP the free kick. After a rather tough play, Umbrella Corporation's Sebastião Pimenta got a free kick in the 33rd minute. João Paulo Corrêa made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ronaldão Araújo in the 38th minute. In the 39th minute, Jeferson Mazza ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Conrado Fernandez was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. Didi Ferreira came free with the goalkeeper in the 46th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and João Paulo Corrêa could save by the left post. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Didi Ferreira to strike the kick off in the second half. After 52 played minutes Umbrella Corporation got a freekick which was hit by Sebastião Pimenta. Luiz Nóbrega took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 53rd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for João Paulo Corrêa. Umbrella Corporation's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. If Leonardo Capixaba had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jeferson Mazza fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 62nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Conrado Fernandez having to interfere. In the 64th minute, Luís Fábio Veloso got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When Didi Ferreira came up free with the goalie in the 69th minute, the Abutres 2003 FDP fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Didi Ferreira couldn't finish the play. Umbrella Corporation's João Paulo Corrêa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Arlindo Teixeira in the 71st minute of play. Didi Ferreira struck a weak shot in the 74th minute. João Paulo Corrêa didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Abutres 2003 FDP. Conrado Fernandez acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 83rd minute, took the ball on the long shot from Leonardo Neves. If Jeferson Mazza had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 92 minutes into the game, Ricardo Dias was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Umbrella Corporation's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Abutres 2003 FDP the free kick. Ricardo Dias hit a great freekick 92 minutes into the match. Neither set of supporters seemed pleased with the draw, but both teams had played equally well today.
