After taking down the ball on Umbrella Corporation's corner Luís Fábio Veloso fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Eusébio Albuquerque quite easily take care of the ball. In the 12th match minute, Santo Amaro AC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Aníbal Macedo to maneuver through the defense. Luís Fábio Veloso struck a weak shot in the 13th minute. Eusébio Albuquerque didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Umbrella Corporation. When Anderson Donatello fell near the penalty area in the 19th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Santo Amaro AC's protests and gave Anderson Donatello a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Umbrella Corporation booed when Santo Amaro AC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 20 match minutes in a wonderful position. Anderson Donatello didn't get a good kick on the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Acácio Cabral in the 25th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck João Paulo Corrêa prevented the ball from getting in the gole. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Jeferson Mazza in the 31st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Eusébio Albuquerque saved Santo Amaro AC from getting behind. In the 37thth minute of the game Jeferson Mazza who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Santo Amaro AC's Eusébio Albuquerque was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After 37 played minutes Santo Amaro AC got a freekick which was hit by Fabiano Gaspar. Fabiano Gaspar kicked well hit freekick during the 39th minute of the match. Jeferson Mazza succeeded in the game's 41st minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 0-1. Eusébio Albuquerque stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Jeferson Mazza's shot from short distance in the 47th minute. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Sandro Barreto stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 51st minute, Ricardo Garcia ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. João Paulo Corrêa was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. Jeferson Mazza sent away a hard shot on goal in the 57th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 60th match minute, Santo Amaro AC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ricardo Garcia to maneuver through the defense. Umbrella Corporation's João Paulo Corrêa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ricardo Garcia in the 67th minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Jeferson Mazza in the 69th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Eusébio Albuquerque prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Sandro Barreto during the 71st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 71st minute, Sandro Barreto hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Jeferson Mazza in the 74th minute a chance for a shot on goal. João Paulo Corrêa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sandro Barreto in the 88th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 91st minute, Jeferson Mazza managed to get in a good position for a shot. Umbrella Corporation's supporters rose to their feet, but Jeferson Mazza was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Eusébio Albuquerque breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. A collision led to Umbrella Corporation getting a freekick after 94 minutes play. Wanderson Rosa hit a great ball. Umbrella Corporation were disappointed that they only managed a draw, even though they felt themselves to be the better team.
