The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 5 minutes into the game, Harry Cool's Rudy Sparrow nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Mack Neich made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Bern Unicomb scored 0-2 in the 11th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Mack Neich, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 13th match minute, Harry Cool was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Carleton Wilson to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bickford Cochrane in the 23rd minute of play forced Harry Cool's goalkeeper Carver Watman to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Bern Unicomb kicked well hit freekick during the 24th minute of the match. 28 minutes into the match, Jenkins Shorten dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Carver Watman, 1-2. In the 32nd match minute, Rodborough was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bryan Fenwick to maneuver through the defense. Mack Neich took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rudy Sparrow, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 35 minutes into the match, Rudy Sparrow notched a goal, 1-3, to the right of Rodborough's Mack Neich. Mack Neich was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. A collision led to Harry Cool getting a freekick after 40 minutes play. Mack Neich showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rudy Sparrow, who was totally free with the ball in the 46th minute. After 46 minutes, Jenkins Shorten mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Rodborough and the Harry Cool players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 46th minute, Jenkins Shorten hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-3 lead.

Harry Cool's Carver Watman played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Keefe Johnson in the 51st minute of play. The supporters of Rodborough booed when Harry Cool was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 54 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bern Unicomb didn't get a good kick on the ball. Jenkins Shorten received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 56th minute. Carver Watman tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 60 minutes into the game, Harry Cool's Tommy Kaine nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Mack Neich made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-4. If Rudy Sparrow had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 65th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Rodborough's Mack Neich proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 70th minute of the match, managed to save Rodborough from getting a goal against them. In the 81st match minute, Harry Cool was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tommy Kaine to maneuver through the defense. In the 85th minute, Keefe Johnson ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Carver Watman was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-4. A sloppy throw-in by Bath Rheistein in the 88th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Harry Cool's Duffield Calver. The supporters of Harry Cool booed when Rodborough was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 89 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bryan Fenwick didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 90th match minute, Rodborough was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jenkins Shorten to maneuver through the defense. The Harry Cool players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
