Thanks to some nice moves Tommy Kaine could shoot a difficult shot in the 18th minute, which Blake Kinnaird however easily saved by the left post. The crowd rose to their feet as Rudy Sparrow kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Blake Kinnaird. That made the score 1-0 in the 19 minute of play. Downing Thomas's late challenge caught a Harry Cool's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Downing Thomas helped the player get up and apologised. In the 21st match minute, BES MUDI BANDITS was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Downing Thomas to maneuver through the defense. Larkin Durbridge sent away a hard shot on goal in the 24th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Brandon Grandison made in the 27th minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Downing Thomas however managed to control. In the 39th minute, Larkin Durbridge left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The BES MUDI BANDITS fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Bern Unicomb during the 44th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a defensive mix-up in Harry Cool's zone, Howard Nelson stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Carver Watman came out of the goal and Howard Nelson tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 47 minutes into the match, BES MUDI BANDITS's goal looked a bit too open when Rudy Sparrow came free, but Blake Kinnaird reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

After having played for 64 minutes, Rudy Sparrow managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Harry Cool's supporters crossed their fingers, but Rudy Sparrow was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 96 played minutes Harry Cool got a freekick which was hit by Jessop Leach. BES MUDI BANDITS played a much better game than Harry Cool and deserved their victory. The Harry Cool players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
