When the match had gone on for 10 minutes, Kent Barling put it in 0-1 from a short distance just to the right of Carver Watman. Carver Watman showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kent Barling in the 15th minute of the match. 17 minutes in the game Stan Peplow did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Kent Barling. A collision led to Manly FC getting a freekick after 22 minutes play. Burtt Cusbert hit a great ball. Aron Benton was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 23rd played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. 26 minutes into the match, Harry Cool's goal looked a bit too open when Stevie Gerrard came free, but Carver Watman reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 27th minute, Kent Barling left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Manly FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. After 29 played minutes Harry Cool got a freekick which was hit by Brayden Whitmore. Carver Watman showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Munroe Brien in the 34th minute of the match. 35 minutes into the game, Stevie Gerrard cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-3. Carver Watman was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Stan Peplow got a throw-in 43 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Fletcher Brennand. Carver Watman showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Kent Barling, who was totally free with the ball in the 47th minute. Disappointed in the 0-3 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Brayden Whitmore made a kick off. With a little luck, Harry Cool's Carver Watman got control of the ball when Munroe Brien tried to sneak it across the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Stevie Gerrard in the 61st minute of play forced Harry Cool's goalkeeper Carver Watman to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 64th minute, Brayden Whitmore got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 68 minutes, Brayden Whitmore mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Harry Cool and the Manly FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Harry Cool's Brayden Whitmore got a free kick in the 68th minute. Manly FC's Marcus Didlick was substituted for Kyle Tevelien. Harry Cool's defense didn't have a chance, in the 81st minute, when Kent Barling scored to the left of an out of position Carver Watman, making the score, 0-4. In the 88th minute, Cole Staggard got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Kirby Chant took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cole Staggard, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.
