Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Kent Barling to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 55th minute, Antony Aistrope got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Kirby Chant made an important save on a dangerous shot by Rudolph Jackson in the 58th minute. In the 62nd minute, Niles Kuskoff hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Antony Aistrope received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 70th minute. Kirby Chant tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 78 minutes into the match, Manly FC's goalkeeper Kirby Chant had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Keefe Fulton. Kirby Chant was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Keefe Fulton showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-4 in the 87 minute of play. Manly FC's Kirby Chant proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 98th minute of the match, managed to save Manly FC from getting a goal against them. When the final whistle went the supporters of Leeton United FC were delighted that their team had defeated the much more dominant Manly FC side.
