Spectators: 205 (Terracing: 154, Seating: 47, VIP seats: 4) 3 minutes into the match, Rodborough's goal looked a bit too open when Thomas Thomas came free, but Albert Shirdon reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rudolph Jackson in the 4th minute of play forced Rodborough's goalkeeper Albert Shirdon to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 6th minute, Keefe Fulton ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Albert Shirdon was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. In the 9th minute Murphey Dollymore shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Albert Shirdon saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 11th minute, Thomas Thomas made a precise shot to the right of Albert Shirdon. Rodborough's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. Albert Shirdon made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Thomas Thomas in the 15th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Rodborough's zone, Keefe Fulton stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Albert Shirdon came out of the goal and Keefe Fulton tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Albert Shirdon showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Thomas Thomas in the 18th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Antony Aistrope in the 19th minute of play forced Rodborough's goalkeeper Albert Shirdon to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Stan Bowen during the 20th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Leeton United FC getting a freekick after 20 minutes play. Stan Bowen hit a great ball. Albert Shirdon took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Thomas Thomas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 27th minute, Antony Aistrope ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Albert Shirdon was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-3. Bickford Cochrane scored 1-3 in the 30th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Reginald Callaghan, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 37th minute Thomas Thomas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Albert Shirdon saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Keefe Fulton kicked well hit freekick during the 39th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Rodborough's Cain Magnay got a free kick in the 40th minute. After 41 minutes of play, Leeton United FC's Thomas Thomas made it 1-4 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Albert Shirdon was left in no man's land by his defense there! After 45 minutes of play, Leeton United FC's Antony Aistrope made it 1-5 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Bickford Cochrane was the one to do the kick off. 51 minutes into the game, Corbett Glover was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Leeton United FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Rodborough the free kick. A collision led to Leeton United FC getting a freekick after 51 minutes play. Corbett Glover hit a great ball. After 55 minutes, Bryan Fenwick mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Rodborough and the Leeton United FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Bryan Fenwick hit a great freekick 55 minutes into the match. In the 56th minute, Keefe Fulton sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Rodborough's Albert Shirdon didn't even have to move. After 56 played minutes Rodborough got a freekick which was hit by Ren Burton. A collision led to Leeton United FC getting a freekick after 61 minutes play. Stan Bowen hit a great ball. When the match had gone on for 67 minutes, Thomas Thomas took a quick shot and it went in 1-7 without a chance for Albert Shirdon to make any attempt to save it. With a little luck, Rodborough's Albert Shirdon got control of the ball when Keefe Fulton tried to sneak it across the goal line. 73 minutes into the match, Rodborough's goalkeeper Albert Shirdon had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Thomas Thomas. Thomas Thomas could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 79th minute of the match, but Albert Shirdon made a huge save. After 85 played minutes Leeton United FC got a freekick which was hit by Rudolph Jackson. Boyd Mcgirr hit a great freekick 86 minutes into the match. Bickford Cochrane recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 87th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Albert Shirdon showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Murphey Dollymore, who was totally free with the ball in the 91st minute. When Phillip Waterland fell near the penalty area in the 93rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Leeton United FC's protests and gave Phillip Waterland a yellow card for diving instead. In the 94th match minute, Leeton United FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Phillip Waterland to maneuver through the defense. The Leeton United FC players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
