Spectators: 195 (Terracing: 147, Seating: 45, VIP seats: 3) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Brad Missen got the match started through his kick off. With a little luck, Elderslie Magpies's Corder Clubley got control of the ball when Reese Lambourne tried to sneak it across the goal line. Elderslie Magpies's Ed Howard was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Joseph Venz in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Joseph Venz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Brock Devine, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Drake Crampton kicked well hit freekick during the 11th minute of the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Jason Shipman during the 12th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Abbotsford FC getting a freekick after 13 minutes play. Jason Shipman hit a great ball. 14 minutes into the game, Brad Missen cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Joseph Venz was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 18th match minute, Abbotsford FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Duffield Bennett to maneuver through the defense. Raleigh Dale sent away a hard shot on goal in the 19th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Joseph Venz came out of the goal in the 24th minute to try and stop a shot by Elderslie Magpies's Ed Howard. But to his dismay, Ed Howard quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. After a rather tough play, Elderslie Magpies's Martin Bailey got a free kick in the 34th minute. When Murphy Lascelles fell near the penalty area in the 42nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Abbotsford FC's protests and gave Murphy Lascelles a yellow card for diving instead. In the 44th minute, Byron Osbiston hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-3.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Jenkins Bielski to make the kick off. Elderslie Magpies's Corder Clubley played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jenkins Bielski in the 51st minute of play. Corder Clubley showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jeremy Mcjunkins in the 52nd minute of the match. If Raleigh Dale had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 54th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Corder Clubley took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bruno Erwin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Raleigh Dale who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 60thth minute tested the skills of Joseph Venz when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Raleigh Dale struck a weak shot in the 65th minute. Joseph Venz didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Elderslie Magpies. Ed Howard was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 68th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Corder Clubley made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jeremy Mcjunkins in the 73rd minute of play. Joseph Venz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Brad Missen, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 77th minute, Ed Howard hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Joseph Venz made a fantastic save in the 79th minute, when Raleigh Dale sent off a good shot on target. Jeremy Mcjunkins hit a great freekick 85 minutes into the match. After a defensive mix-up in Abbotsford FC's zone, Brad Missen stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Joseph Venz came out of the goal and Brad Missen tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 89 minutes into the game, Abbotsford FC's Jenkins Bielski nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Corder Clubley made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-3. In the 94th minute, Jeremy Mcjunkins left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Abbotsford FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-3. The second half was just like the first, even and exciting. The match ended in a draw.
