Ed Howard sent away a hard shot on goal in the 28th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Raleigh Dale hit a great freekick 30 minutes into the match. Jeremy Mcjunkins's late challenge caught a Elderslie Magpies's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Jeremy Mcjunkins helped the player get up and apologised. After 32 played minutes Abbotsford FC got a freekick which was hit by Jeremy Mcjunkins. After some fancy dribbling in the 35th minute, Jeremy Mcjunkins managed to get in a good position for a shot. Corder Clubley breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Corder Clubley took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jenkins Bielski, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, Elderslie Magpies's Mack Barker got a free kick in the 83rd minute. Corder Clubley was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Bruno Erwin showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-1 in the 88 minute of play. Elderslie Magpies's Corder Clubley proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 93rd minute of the match, managed to save Elderslie Magpies from getting a goal against them. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Jenkins Bielski in the 94th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Corder Clubley saved Elderslie Magpies from getting behind. Abbotsford FC's supporters were dissatisfied at the end of the match because Elderslie Magpies had won, even though Abbotsford FC had held more of the ball.
