Burt Biddell ran back to his position shaking his head. Justin Cowdell showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Preston Worsley, who was totally free with the ball in the 8th minute. Benny Schulzte hit a great freekick 8 minutes into the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Boyde Brien during the 12th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 12 played minutes Ayla FC got a freekick which was hit by Boyde Brien. Ed Allcock received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 13th minute. Al Stevens tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Burt Biddell could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 15th minute of the match, but Al Stevens made a huge save. Justin Cowdell took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Randell Dillon, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 19th match minute, Ayla FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ben Sedgman to maneuver through the defense. The supporters of Ayla FC booed when Amputees FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 23 match minutes in a wonderful position. Buchanan Sedgman didn't get a good kick on the ball. 24 minutes into the match, Amputees FC's goal looked a bit too open when Burt Biddell came free, but Al Stevens reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Benny Schulzte's late challenge caught a Ayla FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Benny Schulzte helped the player get up and apologised. In the 25th match minute, Amputees FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Benny Schulzte to maneuver through the defense. Al Stevens showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Burt Biddell, who was totally free with the ball in the 27th minute. Al Stevens had great luck who in the 30thth minute grab hold of the ball when Burt Biddell from a short distance tried to put the ball inside the right post. If Fabian Waller had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Randell Dillon in the 36th minute of play forced Ayla FC's goalkeeper Justin Cowdell to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 40 minutes into the game, Amputees FC's Fabian Waller nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Justin Cowdell made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. Al Stevens showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Burt Biddell, who was totally free with the ball in the 44th minute. After 46th play minutes Burt Biddell shot 2-1, a short shot which went by Al Stevens and just under the crossbar into goal. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-1.

Ayla FC's Burt Biddell got a good chance for a goal in the 52nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Al Stevens made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Burt Biddell in the 57th minute of play. In the 58th match minute, Ayla FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Craig Jackson to maneuver through the defense. After having played for 59 minutes, Randell Dillon managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Amputees FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Randell Dillon was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Ed Allcock struck a weak shot in the 62nd minute. Al Stevens didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ayla FC. In the 69thth minute of the game Burt Biddell who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Amputees FC's Al Stevens was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 70th minute, Randell Dillon made a precise shot to the right of Justin Cowdell. Ayla FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-2. After a rather tough play, Ayla FC's Benjy Raison got a free kick in the 73rd minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Randell Dillon in the 75th minute of play forced Ayla FC's goalkeeper Justin Cowdell to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, Amputees FC's Dale Huntington got a free kick in the 83rd minute. When Burt Biddell came up free with the goalie in the 83rd minute, the Ayla FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Burt Biddell couldn't finish the play. In the 91st minute Burt Biddell shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Al Stevens saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Amputees FC were unable to convert their possession into goals, allowing Ayla FC to leave the ground with a draw.
