In the 7th minute, Amputees FC's Randell Dillon ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Justin Cowdell. Justin Cowdell yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. Al Stevens showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Burt Biddell in the 11th minute of the match. Dale Huntington took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 12th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Justin Cowdell. Ayla FC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. The audience was convinced that Randell Dillon's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Justin Cowdell was relentless in the 15th minute of the game. Ayla FC's Boyde Brien got his second yellow card of the match in the 16th minute. The referee ordered Boyde Brien off the ground. A collision led to Ayla FC getting a freekick after 16 minutes play. Boyde Brien hit a great ball. In the 17thth minute of the game Randell Dillon who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Ayla FC's Justin Cowdell was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. With his leg Justin Cowdell managed to avoid a goal in the 19thth minute, when Amputees FC's Randell Dillon fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. When Craig Jackson came up free with the goalie in the 21st minute, the Ayla FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Craig Jackson couldn't finish the play. Justin Cowdell was a little too slow when Randell Dillon got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 27th minute. The score was now 2-0. 30 minutes into the game, Preston Worsley cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-0. Justin Cowdell was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Justin Cowdell showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Randell Dillon in the 33rd minute of the match. With an all-out effort, Amputees FC's Justin Cowdell threw himself towards the right post 35 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Randell Dillon, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. If Preston Worsley had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 43rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the match had gone on for 47 minutes, Randell Dillon put it in 4-0 from a short distance just to the right of Justin Cowdell. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 4-0 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Randell Dillon to strike the kick off in the second half. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Burt Biddell during the 54th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 54 played minutes Ayla FC got a freekick which was hit by Burt Biddell. 55 minutes into the match, Amputees FC's Dale Huntington sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Justin Cowdell narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Al Stevens showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Craig Jackson, who was totally free with the ball in the 58th minute. Ben Sedgman hit a great freekick 60 minutes into the match. Justin Cowdell made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Randell Dillon in the 70th minute of play. Fabian Waller sent away a hard shot on goal in the 72nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Justin Cowdell showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Randell Dillon in the 78th minute of the match. If Ed Allcock had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 82nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Justin Cowdell showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Randell Dillon, who was totally free with the ball in the 85th minute. Ed Allcock could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 86th minute of the match, but Al Stevens made a huge save. Ben Sedgman hit a great freekick 91 minutes into the match. After 93 played minutes Amputees FC got a freekick which was hit by Preston Worsley. Craig Jackson hit a great freekick 94 minutes into the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 97th minute, Randell Dillon managed to get in a good position for a shot. Amputees FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Randell Dillon was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Justin Cowdell breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Amputees FC had played much better football throughout.
