A collision led to Linterna verde getting a freekick after 2 minutes play. Benvide Marmol hit a great ball. Loco Team FC's Arnaldo Vado got a good chance for a goal in the 3rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 12th minute of the match Paz Arciniega shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Artal Fondos showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Hipolito Padura in the 14th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Artal Fondos saved Loco Team FC from getting behind. Tiadoro Zalaeta could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 18th minute of the match, but Iban Montemiuño made a huge save. Artal Fondos made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ladislao Prat in the 25th minute of play. In the 31st match minute, Loco Team FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gorosti Moneda to maneuver through the defense. Hipolito Padura took the ball and in the 33 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Artal Fondos. Artal Fondos dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. After a rather tough play, Linterna verde's Ladislao Prat got a free kick in the 42nd minute.

If Ticho Anuncibay had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 58th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Loco Team FC made a substitution. Ruben Cardeñosa replaced Tiadoro Zalaeta. Gorosti Moneda, 66 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Artal Fondos took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Hipolito Padura, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The audience thought a goal was coming when Hipolito Padura got free with Artal Fondos in the 69th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Tancredo Plaza kicked well hit freekick during the 81st minute of the match. If Hipolito Padura had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 83rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 86th minute, Paz Arciniega reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Artal Fondos. The goal made the score 0-3. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Linterna verde eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
