If Andres Feloaga had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 17th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Raebert Manzano in the 22nd minute of play forced Ríver Late's goalkeeper Isauro Contero to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 27 minutes into the match, Ríver Late's goal looked a bit too open when Rubio Pando came free, but Isauro Contero reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Zoil Peregrin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Valentim Udias in the 28th minute of the match. The supporters of Ríver Late booed when Imperio Catatumbo de Lara was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 31 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mancio Estevis didn't get a good kick on the ball. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Patricio Garviras made a kick off. Jorge Niță received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 53rd minute. Isauro Contero was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Patricio Garviras showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-3 in the 62 minute of play. A nice corner shot did that Jorge Niță got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Isauro Contero quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. 78 minutes into the match, Rubio Pando had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Isauro Contero. Ríver Late's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Rubio Pando was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-4. With a little luck, Ríver Late's Isauro Contero got control of the ball when Patricio Garviras tried to sneak it across the goal line. 89 minutes into the game, Chesus Jusino was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Ríver Late's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Imperio Catatumbo de Lara the free kick. A collision led to Ríver Late getting a freekick after 89 minutes play. After 90 played minutes, Imperio Catatumbo de Lara's Jorge Niță shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Isauro Contero came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Imperio Catatumbo de Lara reached it. The supporters of Ríver Late booed when Imperio Catatumbo de Lara was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 93 match minutes in a wonderful position. Montae Artealde didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 94 minutes of play, Ríver Late's Beti Jene made it 3-4 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Zoil Peregrin was left in no man's land by his defense there! The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Imperio Catatumbo de Lara eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
