Justino Lujan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Celedonio Rasa was out of position in the 9 minute of play, and Marcos Barrenechea capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Marcos Barrenechea really showed his touch with that goal: 1-0. In the 12th minute, Orlin Aguilar left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The FERRABARCA FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. The supporters of FERRABARCA FC booed when Socavon FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 16 match minutes in a wonderful position. Garcia Goyo didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 19 played minutes FERRABARCA FC got a freekick which was hit by Tiago Cainzos. Iturri Soldevilla sent away a hard shot on goal in the 22nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Socavon FC's Iturri Soldevilla in the 24th minute got a chance for a shot 24th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye FERRABARCA FC's goalie prevented a goal. After a rather tough play, Socavon FC's Weather Rasines got a free kick in the 27th minute. In the 29th minute Rencio Bergada shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Celedonio Rasa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Rencio Bergada got free with Celedonio Rasa in the 31st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Celedonio Rasa made an important save on a dangerous shot by Rencio Bergada in the 33rd minute. After a defensive mix-up in FERRABARCA FC's zone, Marcos Barrenechea stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Celedonio Rasa came out of the goal and Marcos Barrenechea tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 36 minutes into the match, FERRABARCA FC's goal looked a bit too open when Weather Rasines came free, but Celedonio Rasa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Rencio Bergada came up free with the goalie in the 37th minute, the Socavon FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Rencio Bergada couldn't finish the play. Marcos Barrenechea charged in rather forcefully in the 41st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Marcos Barrenechea the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 41 played minutes Socavon FC got a freekick which was hit by Marcos Barrenechea. Socavon FC's Justino Lujan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Orlin Aguilar in the 44th minute of play.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Iturri Soldevilla to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 53rd minute, Iturri Soldevilla left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Socavon FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-1. In the 56th minute, Marcos Barrenechea got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When Socavon FC's Rencio Bergada in the 59th minute got a chance for a shot 59th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye FERRABARCA FC's goalie prevented a goal. In the 60th minute, FERRABARCA FC's Sandalio Masdeu ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Justino Lujan. Justino Lujan yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-2. Justino Lujan stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Orlin Aguilar's shot from short distance in the 73rd minute. Orlin Aguilar took the ball and in the 79 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Justino Lujan. Justino Lujan dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-3. In the 87th minute, Erramu Echarriza hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Zumar Encio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 96th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
