Lertxun Oliver started the match with the kick off. A collision led to Socavon FC getting a freekick after 2 minutes play. Diagur Mellado hit a great ball. Socavon FC's Justino Lujan proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 10th minute of the match, managed to save Socavon FC from getting a goal against them. Weather Rasines took the ball and in the 15 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Pio Falla. Pio Falla dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Iturri Soldevilla scored 0-2 in the 19th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Pio Falla, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Dominguez Mayen's late challenge caught a Deportivo Ortegano's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Dominguez Mayen helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Socavon FC's Dominguez Mayen got a free kick in the 26th minute. The referee felt a red card was in order, 28 minutes into the game, when Franko Tio put in a rough tackle. In a very dangerous position, a player in Socavon FC fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 27th minute. Penalty! Justino Lujan had in the 29thth minute some difficulties stopping Generosb Cetina's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. In the 31st minute, Rencio Bergada hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With his leg Justino Lujan managed to avoid a goal in the 32ndth minute, when Deportivo Ortegano's Lertxun Oliver fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. With an all-out effort, Deportivo Ortegano's Justino Lujan threw himself towards the right post 36 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Lertxun Oliver, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. In the 37th minute, Generosb Cetina got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Marcos Barrenechea made a kick off. Justino Lujan stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Lertxun Oliver's shot from short distance in the 53rd minute. When Ladislao Teresa fell near the penalty area in the 61st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Deportivo Ortegano's protests and gave Ladislao Teresa a yellow card for diving instead. Rencio Bergada kicked well hit freekick during the 62nd minute of the match. The crowd rose to their feet as Socavon FC's Weather Rasines slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Pio Falla. That made the score 0-3 after 67 minutes of play. Cesario Valensuela kicked well hit freekick during the 76th minute of the match. Generosb Cetina kicked well hit freekick during the 79th minute of the match. Pio Falla showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Marcos Barrenechea, who was totally free with the ball in the 82nd minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Rencio Bergada in the 85th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Pio Falla prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 86th match minute, Deportivo Ortegano was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cesario Valensuela to maneuver through the defense. When Martin Chapado came up free with the goalie in the 87th minute, the Socavon FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Martin Chapado couldn't finish the play. 93 minutes into the match, Lertxun Oliver notched a goal, 1-3, to the right of Socavon FC's Justino Lujan. Justino Lujan was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The Socavon FC supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Socavon FC would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
