Unikurdos United F.C.'s Natanael Urquiaga got a good chance for a goal in the 14th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Benja Belmonte's late challenge caught a Unikurdos United F.C.'s player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Benja Belmonte helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Atletico Aragua FC's Benja Belmonte got a free kick in the 15th minute. 17 minutes into the match, Gitano Cano notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of Atletico Aragua FC's Boni Arregui. Boni Arregui was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Elequemedo Teberga sent away a hard shot on goal in the 19th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Aristides Carro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 21st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 23rd minute, Gitano Cano left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Unikurdos United F.C. fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-3. Atletico Aragua FC's Boni Arregui played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gitano Cano in the 25th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Leheren Duro in the 28th minute of play forced Atletico Aragua FC's goalkeeper Boni Arregui to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 30 minutes, Quintyn Zubizarrieta mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Unikurdos United F.C. and the Atletico Aragua FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Atletico Aragua FC booed when Unikurdos United F.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 30 match minutes in a wonderful position. Quintyn Zubizarrieta didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 32 played minutes Atletico Aragua FC got a freekick which was hit by Madaleno Salvatierra. 33 minutes into the game, Gitano Cano cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-4. Boni Arregui was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 38 minutes into the match, Gitano Cano had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Boni Arregui. Atletico Aragua FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Gitano Cano was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-5. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Remigio Cerezo to make the kick off. Atletico Aragua FC's Boni Arregui played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gitano Cano in the 53rd minute of play. In the 56th minute, Ramirez Larrieta got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Aristides Carro in the 59th minute of play forced Unikurdos United F.C.'s goalkeeper Edson Soret to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Gitano Cano had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 61st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Atletico Aragua FC's Boni Arregui proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 63rd minute of the match, managed to save Atletico Aragua FC from getting a goal against them. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Remigio Cerezo during the 66th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 67th minute, Remigio Cerezo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Elequemedo Teberga fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 75th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Boni Arregui having to interfere. Uxio Agosta struck a weak shot in the 79th minute. Boni Arregui didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Unikurdos United F.C.. After 86 minutes, Aristides Carro mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Atletico Aragua FC and the Unikurdos United F.C. players grew even worse after the yellow card. Aristides Carro hit a great freekick 86 minutes into the match. An unexpected shot in the 89th minute by Uxio Agosta got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. 93 minutes into the match, Atletico Aragua FC's goalkeeper Boni Arregui had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Gitano Cano. Boni Arregui made a fantastic save in the 94th minute, when Gitano Cano sent off a good shot on target. In the 96th minute, Gitano Cano ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Boni Arregui was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-8. Unikurdos United F.C.'s players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
