When Claus Vellon came up free with the goalie in the 3rd minute, the Chigüires De Mogadiscio fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Claus Vellon couldn't finish the play. Chigüires De Mogadiscio's Celio Tijero proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 8th minute of the match, managed to save Chigüires De Mogadiscio from getting a goal against them. After 9 played minutes Real Unión CF got a freekick which was hit by Rozarius Buron. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Claus Vellon during the 14th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 14th minute, Claus Vellon hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Chigüires De Mogadiscio's defense didn't have a chance, in the 16th minute, when Iliana Vielva scored to the left of an out of position Celio Tijero, making the score, 1-0. After a rather tough play, Chigüires De Mogadiscio's Ximen Caballeria got a free kick in the 18th minute. Celio Tijero made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Iliana Vielva in the 19th minute of play. In the 21st minute of the match Real Unión CF got a corner. Chigüires De Mogadiscio's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Pes Roca ran over to the corner to take the kick. Pes Roca made a great header on Real Unión CF's corner, it was just that Chigüires De Mogadiscio's Celio Tijero managed to reach the ball for a save. Fortun Amieva hit a great freekick 23 minutes into the match. After having played for 23 minutes, Soter Cacho managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Real Unión CF's supporters crossed their fingers, but Soter Cacho was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Rozarius Buron fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 27th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Celio Tijero having to interfere. Celio Tijero took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Iliana Vielva, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ximen Caballeria sent away a hard shot on goal in the 31st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Rozarius Buron's late challenge caught a Chigüires De Mogadiscio's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Rozarius Buron helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Chigüires De Mogadiscio booed when Real Unión CF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 38 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rozarius Buron didn't get a good kick on the ball. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Claus Vellon to make the kick off. Soter Cacho received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 55th minute. Celio Tijero tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Real Unión CF's zone, Abel Betoño stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Honrio Moñiz came out of the goal and Abel Betoño tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. With a little luck, Real Unión CF's Honrio Moñiz got control of the ball when Ximen Caballeria tried to sneak it across the goal line. Ximen Caballeria scored 1-1 in the 60th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Honrio Moñiz, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Iliana Vielva sent away a hard shot on goal in the 64th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 66 played minutes Chigüires De Mogadiscio got a freekick which was hit by Claus Vellon. In the 67th minute, Soter Cacho got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Celio Tijero showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Iliana Vielva in the 73rd minute of the match. In the 75th minute the ball was on its way in behind Chigüires De Mogadiscio's goalkeeper Celio Tijero, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 77 minutes into the match, Chigüires De Mogadiscio's goal looked a bit too open when Soter Cacho came free, but Celio Tijero reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Rozarius Buron received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 82nd minute. Celio Tijero tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some careless play in the Chigüires De Mogadiscio defense, Soter Cacho kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Celio Tijero. The Chigüires De Mogadiscio fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Celio Tijero should have stopped the shot. Real Unión CF were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Chigüires De Mogadiscio for a fine match.
