If Roman Ryabin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 9th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Pavel Chabanov showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Roman Ryabin in the 11th minute of the match. Pavel Chabanov made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nikolay Seliverstov in the 13th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 17th minute, Nil Dergachev managed to get in a good position for a shot. FK Amur's supporters rose to their feet, but Nil Dergachev was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Pavel Chabanov breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 19th minute, Nikolay Seliverstov hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 25th match minute, Arsenal F.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Pavel Dedkovskiy to maneuver through the defense. Arsenal F.C.'s Pavel Chabanov played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nikolay Seliverstov in the 26th minute of play. Nikolay Seliverstov kicked well hit freekick during the 28th minute of the match. When the match clock showed 33 minutes, the score became 0-1 when Nikolay Seliverstov sped through Arsenal F.C.'s defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Pavel Chabanov. The audience thought a goal was coming when Valeriy Chirkov got free with Dmitriy Sidorov in the 37th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Nil Dergachev received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 39th minute. Pavel Chabanov tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Pavel Chabanov showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Aleksey Antonov, who was totally free with the ball in the 48th minute.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Valeriy Chirkov to make the kick off. Nikolay Seliverstov received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Pavel Chabanov came out and tried to block the shot, but Nikolay Seliverstov slotted it home off the left post making it 0-2 in the 53rd minute. In the 59th minute, Danila Akinfeev hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Nikolay Seliverstov sent away a hard shot on goal in the 62nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Nikolay Seliverstov took the ball and in the 63 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Pavel Chabanov. Pavel Chabanov dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-3. Roman Ryabin could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 68th minute of the match, but Pavel Chabanov made a huge save. Nikolay Seliverstov sent away a hard shot on goal in the 70th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 80th minute, Eduard Florianov left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Arsenal F.C. fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-3. Nikolay Seliverstov blasted a shot towards the goal in the 84th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Pavel Chabanov having to make a save. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Nikolay Seliverstov in the 87th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Pavel Chabanov saved Arsenal F.C. from getting behind. Arsenal F.C. were furious when Sergey Balboshin was red carded, 93 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. After a rather tough play, FK Amur's Danila Akinfeev got a free kick in the 97th minute. The FK Amur supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing FK Amur would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
