When the match had gone on for 9 minutes, Attilio Bearzot took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Emiliano Melito to make any attempt to save it. Carlo Di Fiore hit a great freekick 11 minutes into the match. 12 minutes into the game, Armin Tiberio was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. A.S. Trastevere's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave LEBEG Team the free kick. Armin Tiberio kicked well hit freekick during the 12th minute of the match. After 24 played minutes A.S. Trastevere got a freekick which was hit by Francesco Gazza. Armin Tiberio who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 28thth minute tested the skills of Emiliano Melito when he managed to save the team from getting behind. The audience thought a goal was coming when Attilio Bearzot got free with Emiliano Melito in the 29th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. If Armin Tiberio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. When Francesco Costacurta fell near the penalty area in the 34th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored LEBEG Team's protests and gave Francesco Costacurta a yellow card for diving instead. After 34 played minutes LEBEG Team got a freekick which was hit by Francesco Costacurta. Attilio Bearzot's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Emiliano Melito read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 35th minute of play. In the 38th minute, Emilio Toccaceli got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 40th match minute, LEBEG Team was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Emilio Toccaceli to maneuver through the defense. In the 41st minute, Armin Tiberio got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After a defensive mix-up in A.S. Trastevere's zone, Beppe Alessandro stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Antonello Manzo came out of the goal and Beppe Alessandro tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Achille Flammini sent away a hard shot on goal in the 74th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 75 played minutes A.S. Trastevere got a freekick which was hit by Francesco Gazza. In the 83rd minute, Beppe Alessandro fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Antonello Manzo, passed just outside the right post. Antonello Manzo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Beppe Alessandro in the 86th minute of play.
