The Sconvols United fans' excitement grew in the 5th match minute when Sconvols United's Damiano Rosato looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. After a rather tough play, Carloforte f.c.'s Claudio Garibaldi got a free kick in the 9th minute. In the 13th minute, Damiano Rosato got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 14th minute, Claudio Garibaldi hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After having played for 21 minutes, Claudio Garibaldi managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Carloforte f.c.'s supporters crossed their fingers, but Claudio Garibaldi was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Thanks to some nice moves Damiano Rosato could shoot a difficult shot in the 28th minute, which Filippo Punta however easily saved by the left post. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dino Di Nucci in the 31st minute of play forced Sconvols United's goalkeeper Ettore Franco to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Dave Antonioni charged in rather forcefully in the 31st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Dave Antonioni the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Carloforte f.c.'s Ferdinando Carosella got a good chance for a goal in the 32nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Ettore Franco showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dino Di Nucci, who was totally free with the ball in the 34th minute. 36 minutes into the match, Carloforte f.c.'s goal looked a bit too open when Carmine Gagliano came free, but Filippo Punta reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, Carloforte f.c.'s Ferruccio De Leonardis got a free kick in the 37th minute. Carloforte f.c.'s Filippo Punta played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Damiano Rosato in the 38th minute of play. Filippo Punta stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Damiano Rosato's shot from short distance in the 40th minute. 42 minutes into the match, Dino Di Nucci had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Ettore Franco. Sconvols United's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Dino Di Nucci was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. Sconvols United's Ettore Franco played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ferdinando Carosella in the 47th minute of play.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Ferdinando Carosella was the one to do the kick off. In the 52nd minute Dino Di Nucci shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ettore Franco saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Carloforte f.c.'s attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Andrea Capasso in the 53rd minute. Ettore Franco made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ferdinando Carosella in the 55th minute. Carter Anelli kicked well hit freekick during the 55th minute of the match. 61 minutes into the match, Carloforte f.c.'s goal looked a bit too open when Damiano Rosato came free, but Filippo Punta reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 62 played minutes Carloforte f.c. got a freekick which was hit by Edmondo Terrasi. Carmine Gagliano sent away a hard shot on goal in the 65th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Andrea Ranieri kicked well hit freekick during the 66th minute of the match. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Ettore Franco. Claudio Garibaldi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 84th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ettore Franco having to interfere. Filippo Punta showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Damiano Rosato in the 86th minute of the match. In the 87thth minute of the game Damiano Rosato who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Carloforte f.c.'s Filippo Punta was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 89 minutes into the match, Ferdinando Carosella notched a goal, 3-3, to the right of Sconvols United's Ettore Franco. Ettore Franco was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 92 minutes into the match, Carloforte f.c.'s goal looked a bit too open when Carmine Gagliano came free, but Filippo Punta reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, Sconvols United's Biagio Tarantini got a free kick in the 93rd minute. Andrea Capasso, 94 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal.
