In the 16th minute, Urbs LC's Armando Sampo ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Bernardo Aceto. Bernardo Aceto yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. 19 minutes into the game, Urbs LC's Amedeo Baciadonne nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Bernardo Aceto made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-0. In the 23rd minute, Mark Štrukelj hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 25 minutes into the game, Dino Polmone was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Urbs LC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave FC Mims the free kick. A collision led to Urbs LC getting a freekick after 25 minutes play. Dino Polmone hit a great ball. Mark Štrukelj received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 28th minute. Bernardo Aceto tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Aldo Ceci fell near the penalty area in the 35th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Urbs LC's protests and gave Aldo Ceci a yellow card for diving instead. Alessio Ubriaco placed the ball on the penalty spot and got himself ready to shoot. Post out! FC Mims's Bernardo Aceto played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dino Polmone in the 38th minute of play. FC Mims were furious when Flavio Di Matteo was red carded, 40 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. Anfilogino Pantano fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alvise Di Palma having to interfere. In the 47th minute Anfilogino Pantano shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alvise Di Palma saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-0 at half-time.

Urbs LC's Armando Formica was substituted for Alessandro Piccone. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Bruno Ansoldi was the one to do the kick off. Mark Štrukelj fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 56th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bernardo Aceto having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Amedeo Baciadonne in the 58th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Bernardo Aceto prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Bruno Ansoldi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 62nd minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Amedeo Baciadonne in the 76th minute of play forced FC Mims's goalkeeper Bernardo Aceto to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Fabrizio Melucci received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 79th minute. Bernardo Aceto tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After having played for 81 minutes, Bruno Ansoldi managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. FC Mims's supporters crossed their fingers, but Bruno Ansoldi was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Alvise Di Palma made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Amerigo La Penna in the 82nd minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Amedeo Baciadonne in the 84th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Bernardo Aceto saved FC Mims from getting behind. The supporters of Urbs LC booed when FC Mims was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 94 match minutes in a wonderful position. Carmine Pennetta didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 95 played minutes, Urbs LC's Dennis Manzoni shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Bernardo Aceto came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Urbs LC reached it. Urbs LC's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
