After some fancy dribbling in the 15th minute, Carlo Mandelli managed to get in a good position for a shot. Merceron United's supporters rose to their feet, but Carlo Mandelli was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. The supporters of Merceron United booed when CLC Winter was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 19 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cosimo Florio didn't get a good kick on the ball. Arturo Silvi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Carlo Mandelli in the 24th minute of the match. Arturo Abete hit a great ball. 67 minutes into the match, Merceron United's goal looked a bit too open when Ercole Polo came free, but Alberto Giorda reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Concetto Ferraris hit a great freekick 68 minutes into the match. Carlo Mandelli could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 69th minute of the match, but Arturo Silvi made a huge save. The audience was convinced that Carlo Mandelli's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Arturo Silvi was relentless in the 75th minute of the game. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ercole Polo in the 77th managed to get into a good position. CLC Winter's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Merceron United the free kick. After 79 played minutes CLC Winter got a freekick which was hit by Damiano Pili. Carlo Mandelli in the 83rdth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Arturo Silvi, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ercole Polo in the 85th minute of play forced Merceron United's goalkeeper Alberto Giorda to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Alberigo Falasca hit a great freekick 86 minutes into the match. If Augusto Furia had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Augusto Furia fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 90th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Arturo Silvi having to interfere. With a little luck, CLC Winter's Arturo Silvi got control of the ball when Carlo Mandelli tried to sneak it across the goal line.
