The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Andrea De Angelis during the 10th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Monkey D.Luffy's Andrea De Angelis got a free kick in the 10th minute. Franco Croce fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 18th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Emiliano Scarpone having to interfere. Monkey D.Luffy's Emiliano Scarpone played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Damiano Pili in the 20th minute of play. In the 25th minute Franco Croce shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Emiliano Scarpone saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience was convinced that Franco Croce's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Emiliano Scarpone was relentless in the 26th minute of the game. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Franco Croce in the 29th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Emiliano Scarpone prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 34th minute, Monkey D.Luffy's Emiliano Soccio seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Emiliano Soccio the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Monkey D.Luffy protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Emiliano Soccio had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. 33 minutes into the game, one of Monkey D.Luffy:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Emiliano Scarpone had in the 36thth minute some difficulties stopping Concetto Ferraris's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. Concetto Ferraris scored 0-1 in the 36th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Emiliano Scarpone, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Arrigo Minicucci during the 40th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Arrigo Minicucci hit a great freekick 40 minutes into the match. In the 41st minute of the match Concetto Ferraris shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Emiliano Scarpone showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. In the 42nd minute, Demetrio Giampieri reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Fausto Africano. The goal made the score 1-1. Franco Croce took the ball and in the 47 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Emiliano Scarpone. Emiliano Scarpone dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-2.
Demetrio Giampieri received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 54th minute. Fausto Africano tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Armin Mazza might have been able to make a better finish in the 56th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Emiliano Scarpone. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Armin Mazza ran back to his position shaking his head. Monkey D.Luffy's Emiliano Scarpone proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 59th minute of the match, managed to save Monkey D.Luffy from getting a goal against them. In the 61st match minute, Monkey D.Luffy was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Andrea De Angelis to maneuver through the defense. Emiliano Scarpone was a little too slow when Franco Croce got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 63rd minute. The score was now 1-3. Armin Mazza received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 66th minute. Emiliano Scarpone tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Monkey D.Luffy's Emiliano Scarpone proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 70th minute of the match, managed to save Monkey D.Luffy from getting a goal against them. After 71 played minutes CLC Winter got a freekick which was hit by Cosimo Florio. Monkey D.Luffy's Fabrizio Lizzi couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 72nd minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for CLC Winter. In the 77th minute, Armin Mazza left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The CLC Winter fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-4. After 83 minutes of play, Monkey D.Luffy's Andrea De Angelis made it 2-4 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Fausto Africano was left in no man's land by his defense there! After a rather tough play, Monkey D.Luffy's Demetrio Giampieri got a free kick in the 87th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Damiano Pili in the 89th minute of play forced Monkey D.Luffy's goalkeeper Emiliano Scarpone to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 90 minutes into the game, Andrea Russo was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Monkey D.Luffy's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave CLC Winter the free kick. The supporters of CLC Winter booed when Monkey D.Luffy was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 90 match minutes in a wonderful position. Andrea Russo didn't get a good kick on the ball. Damiano Pili received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 91st minute. Emiliano Scarpone tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With a little luck, Monkey D.Luffy's Emiliano Scarpone got control of the ball when Armin Mazza tried to sneak it across the goal line. Emiliano Scarpone made an important save on a dangerous shot by Armin Mazza in the 93rd minute. 97 minutes into the match, Armin Mazza had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Emiliano Scarpone. Monkey D.Luffy's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Armin Mazza was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-5. CLC Winter's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
