That made the score 1-0 in the 3 minute of play. 12 minutes into the game, one of Gonzo Style f.c:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Fausto Di Francesco made an important save on a dangerous shot by Arrigo Carulli in the 21st minute. The Maritek FC fans' excitement grew in the 22nd match minute when Maritek FC's Arrigo Carulli looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 3-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. In the 25th minute, Maritek FC's Arrigo Carulli dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 4-0. After a rather tough play, Gonzo Style f.c's Adriano Rigoni got a free kick in the 28th minute. After 29 played minutes, Maritek FC's Adriano Santoro shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Fausto Di Francesco came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Maritek FC reached it. Fausto Di Francesco made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Adriano Santoro in the 30th minute of play. With a little luck, Gonzo Style f.c's Fausto Di Francesco got control of the ball when Arrigo Carulli tried to sneak it across the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Adriano Santoro in the 36th minute of play forced Gonzo Style f.c's goalkeeper Fausto Di Francesco to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 40th minute, Maritek FC's Arrigo Carulli dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 5-0. The audience was convinced that Arrigo Carulli's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Fausto Di Francesco was relentless in the 44th minute of the game. In the 46th minute, Arrigo Carulli reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Fausto Di Francesco. The goal made the score 6-0. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 6-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Arrigo Carulli was the one to do the kick off. After a rather tough play, Maritek FC's Comunardo Piretti got a free kick in the 52nd minute. Arrigo Carulli kicked well hit freekick during the 54th minute of the match. In the 55th minute Christian Di Carlo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Aurelio Marchegiani saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 58thth minute of the game Arrigo Carulli who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Gonzo Style f.c's Fausto Di Francesco was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Aurelio Marchegiani made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Attilio Pellecchia in the 59th minute of play. In the 61st minute, Aurelio Cocca hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Camillo Salomone during the 63rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card.
