In the 9th minute Amerigo Bisegna shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Armando Grande saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 10 minutes into the match, Carmine Ramoser had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Francesco Bomba. Real Murçia FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Carmine Ramoser was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-0. Ciccio Ruggieri who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 14thth minute tested the skills of Francesco Bomba when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Dave Lemma could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 16th minute of the match, but Francesco Bomba made a huge save. 17 minutes into the game, Cristiano Laudadio was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Real Murçia FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Kroton F.C. the free kick. After 17 played minutes Real Murçia FC got a freekick which was hit by Cristiano Laudadio. Ciccio Ruggieri's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Francesco Bomba read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 17th minute of play. Francesco Bomba was out of position in the 21 minute of play, and Ciccio Ruggieri capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Ciccio Ruggieri really showed his touch with that goal: 3-0. After 24 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Real Murçia FC! 29 minutes into the match, Real Murçia FC's goal looked a bit too open when Ciccio Ruggieri came free, but Francesco Bomba reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, Kroton F.C.'s Felice Di Federico got a free kick in the 29th minute. In the 31st minute of the match, Ciccio Ruggieri tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Francesco Bomba saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. In the 33rd minute of the match, Carmine Ramoser got a very nice opportunity to score, but Francesco Bomba was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. A collision led to Real Murçia FC getting a freekick after 35 minutes play. Attilio Mameli hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ciccio Ruggieri in the 41st minute of play forced Real Murçia FC's goalkeeper Francesco Bomba to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 44th minute Ciccio Ruggieri shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Francesco Bomba saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a little luck, Real Murçia FC's Francesco Bomba got control of the ball when Demetrio Martini tried to sneak it across the goal line. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 5-0 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Ciccio Ruggieri to strike the kick off in the second half. If Felice Di Federico had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 70 minutes into the match, Real Murçia FC's goal looked a bit too open when Alexander Granato came free, but Francesco Bomba reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ciccio Ruggieri struck a weak shot in the 73rd minute. Francesco Bomba didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Kroton F.C.. 79 minutes into the match, Real Murçia FC's goal looked a bit too open when Ciccio Ruggieri came free, but Francesco Bomba reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Francesco Bomba showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Carmine Ramoser, who was totally free with the ball in the 80th minute.
