Federico Monaco received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 23rd minute. Armando Grande tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Ennio Profeta fell near the penalty area in the 24th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored CA Boca Jrs's protests and gave Ennio Profeta a yellow card for diving instead. Emanuele Guaita made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ciccio Ruggieri in the 26th minute. Carmine Ramoser received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Emanuele Guaita came out and tried to block the shot, but Carmine Ramoser slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 29th minute. In the 33rd minute, Ercole Ceresoli ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Armando Grande was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. In the 40th minute, Kroton F.C.'s Carmine Ramoser ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Emanuele Guaita. Emanuele Guaita yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-1. Demetrio Martini blasted a shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Emanuele Guaita having to make a save. Armando Grande showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dennis Tozzi in the 45th minute of the match. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-1.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Dennis Tozzi to make the kick off. Corrado Cicchetti hit a great freekick 57 minutes into the match. Federico Monaco struck a weak shot in the 61st minute. Armando Grande didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for CA Boca Jrs. Fabio Mirto sent away a hard shot on goal in the 63rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When the match had gone on for 80 minutes, Federico Monaco took a quick shot and it went in 2-2 without a chance for Armando Grande to make any attempt to save it. 84 minutes into the match, Fabrizio Scevola had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Armando Grande. Kroton F.C.'s manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Fabrizio Scevola was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-3. After 86 minutes, Dave Lemma mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Kroton F.C. and the CA Boca Jrs players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Kroton F.C. getting a freekick after 87 minutes play. Dave Lemma hit a great ball. Federico Monaco struck a weak shot in the 90th minute. Armando Grande didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for CA Boca Jrs. Ercole Ceresoli scored 2-4 in the 95th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Armando Grande, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot.
