In the 2nd minute, Emilio Lozzi hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 4th minute, Cacciola's Anfilogino Scrima ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Bianco Roberto. Bianco Roberto yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. A collision led to Cacciola getting a freekick after 7 minutes play. Fortunato Pelliccia hit a great ball. 8 minutes into the match, Alvise Testi notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of Cacciola's Fortunato Garofoli. Fortunato Garofoli was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Fortunato Garofoli made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Biagio Dorigatti in the 11th minute of play. When Fortunato Pelliccia fell near the penalty area in the 16th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Cacciola's protests and gave Fortunato Pelliccia a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of I ritirandi di Canaus booed when Cacciola was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 16 match minutes in a wonderful position. Fortunato Pelliccia didn't get a good kick on the ball. After recieving a nice pass, I ritirandi di Canaus's Biagio Dorigatti tried to score from far away in the 17th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Cacciola's Andrea Giusti quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Corrado Negrini, made in the 19th minute of the game. An unexpectedly hard shot by Andrea Tagliente in the 20th minute of play forced Cacciola's goalkeeper Fortunato Garofoli to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 21st minute I ritirandi di Canaus were awarded a corner. Biagio Dorigatti went to the cornerflag to take it. Bianco Roberto was out of position in the 23 minute of play, and Emiliano Capobianco capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Emiliano Capobianco really showed his touch with that goal: 3-1. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Biagio Dorigatti during the 25th minute. Cacciola's Fortunato Garofoli played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Biagio Dorigatti in the 37th minute of play. 39 minutes into the match, I ritirandi di Canaus's goal looked a bit too open when Emiliano Capobianco came free, but Bianco Roberto reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Biagio Dorigatti stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Fortunato Garofoli made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Andrea Tagliente in the 52nd minute of play. Andrea Tagliente received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Fortunato Garofoli came out and tried to block the shot, but Andrea Tagliente slotted it home off the left post making it 3-2 in the 53rd minute. Bianco Roberto showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Emiliano Capobianco in the 56th minute of the match. In the 58th minute of the match, Biagio Dorigatti got a very nice opportunity to score, but Fortunato Garofoli was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. In the 60th minute Emiliano Capobianco shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bianco Roberto saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Aurelio Piccone hit a great freekick 61 minutes into the match. Fortunato Garofoli made an important save on a dangerous shot by Biagio Dorigatti in the 64th minute. Cacciola's Fortunato Garofoli played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Biagio Dorigatti in the 65th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fausto Santangelo in the 73rd minute of play forced I ritirandi di Canaus's goalkeeper Bianco Roberto to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, I ritirandi di Canaus's Alfonso Simeoni got a free kick in the 73rd minute. Bianco Roberto showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Felice Cesarini in the 75th minute of the match. Bianco Roberto took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Emiliano Capobianco, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In a very dangerous position, a player in Cacciola fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 80th minute. Penalty! Biagio Dorigatti did an outstanding performance 83 minutes into the match, when he by himself got past the opposing team's defense and with a quick scored 3-3 to the right of an irritated Fortunato Garofoli in the goal. After 87 minutes of play, Cacciola's Anfilogino Scrima made it 4-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Bianco Roberto was left in no man's land by his defense there! Ciro Colagrossi kicked well hit freekick during the 91st minute of the match. Andrea Tagliente received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 94th minute. Fortunato Garofoli tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Cacciola's Anfilogino Scrima got a free kick in the 95th minute. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Cacciola fans cheered their team off the field, for while I ritirandi di Canaus had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
