With an extended leg and a bit of luck Angelo Tacco prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Angelo Tacco took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dave Africano, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Angelo Tacco showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ferdinando Festuccia in the 18th minute of the match. In the 21st match minute, Montesacro Utd was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ermanno Granata to maneuver through the defense. If Cesare Zarrella had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 33rd minute, Ferdinando Festuccia ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Angelo Tacco was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. A collision led to Calenzano getting a freekick after 38 minutes play. Anfilogino Graziani hit a great ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ferdinando Festuccia in the 39th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Angelo Tacco saved Calenzano from getting behind. Ermanno Bellisario charged in rather forcefully in the 42nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Ermanno Bellisario the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 42nd match minute, Montesacro Utd was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ermanno Bellisario to maneuver through the defense. After a rather tough play, Montesacro Utd's Ermanno Granata got a free kick in the 45th minute. Beppe Di Piazza who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 47thth minute tested the skills of Ercole Di Fazio when he managed to save the team from getting behind.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Ferdinando Festuccia to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 54thth minute of the game Beppe Di Piazza who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Montesacro Utd's Ercole Di Fazio was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Antonio Gizzi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 73rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ferdinando Festuccia in the 83rd minute of play forced Calenzano's goalkeeper Angelo Tacco to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Dave Africano came up free with the goalie in the 84th minute, the Montesacro Utd fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Dave Africano couldn't finish the play. Beppe Di Piazza received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 95th minute. Ercole Di Fazio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Montesacro Utd were delighted with the way they had won the match. They had held their defensive line well and made the most of their chances, to claim a victory over Calenzano's much stronger midfield.
