Antonio Gizzi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 8th minute. Ercole Di Fazio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 10th minute, Fedele Meazza hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Calenzano's Alvaro Aloisi got a good chance for a goal in the 11th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 12th minute, Bianco Nobili hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 13 minutes, Fabiano Maurizi mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Calenzano and the Montesacro Utd players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 13 played minutes Calenzano got a freekick which was hit by Fabiano Maurizi. Alvaro Aloisi might have been able to make a better finish in the 15th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Ercole Di Fazio. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Alvaro Aloisi ran back to his position shaking his head. Alvaro Aloisi's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Ercole Di Fazio read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 16th minute of play. After 18 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Montesacro Utd! The referee gave Calenzano a penalty, 19 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Anfilogino Traini, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Montesacro Utd's Ercole Di Fazio. 0-1. If Alvaro Aloisi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 21st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Montesacro Utd's Ercole Di Fazio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alvaro Aloisi in the 24th minute of play. Fabiano Maurizi kicked well hit freekick during the 28th minute of the match.

53 minutes into the match, Alvaro Aloisi had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Ercole Di Fazio. Montesacro Utd's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Alvaro Aloisi was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-3. After having played for 57 minutes, Anfilogino Traini managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Calenzano's supporters crossed their fingers, but Anfilogino Traini was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alvaro Aloisi in the 62nd minute of play forced Montesacro Utd's goalkeeper Ercole Di Fazio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Antonio Gizzi, who was free, got the in front of the goal in the 89 minute he wasn't focused and tipped the ball just over the goal. The Ercole Di Fazio was delighted since the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. After a rather tough play, Montesacro Utd's Ercole Allegretti got a free kick in the 90th minute. Calenzano played a much better game than Montesacro Utd and deserved their victory. The Montesacro Utd players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
