In the 20th minute of the match Villa Gordiani got a corner. Zurlo Team's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Concetto Trombatore ran over to the corner to take the kick. A nice corner shot did that Concetto Trombatore got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Demetrio Crosta quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Villa Gordiani's Ciro Del Vecchio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alvise Monti in the 21st minute of play. In the 24th minute Alvise Monti shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ciro Del Vecchio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 26th match minute, Zurlo Team was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Camillo Di Carlo to maneuver through the defense. Concetto Trombatore struck a weak shot in the 27th minute. After 39 minutes of play, Zurlo Team's Anselmo Cirigliano made it 1-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Ciro Del Vecchio was left in no man's land by his defense there! If Ferruccio Calcio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Demetrio Crosta showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Anfilogino Zico, who was totally free with the ball in the 46th minute. The Villa Gordiani players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Zurlo Team were winning 1-2.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Alvise Monti to strike the kick off in the second half. When the match had gone on for 51 minutes, Alvise Monti put it in 1-3 from a short distance just to the right of Ciro Del Vecchio. Zurlo Team's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Eraldo Galante in the 82nd minute. In the 85thth minute of the game Alvise Monti who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Villa Gordiani's Ciro Del Vecchio was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Zurlo Team walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
