In the 6thth minute of the game Carlo Pasquale who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Zurlo Team's Demetrio Crosta was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Carlo Pasquale scored 1-0 in the 9th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Demetrio Crosta, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. A hard shot by Cristoforo Ranieri from long distance, 13 minutes into the match, got Demetrio Crosta's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. After a rather tough play, Lilywhites's Fortunato Minicucci got a free kick in the 13th minute. Fulvio Nola made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alvise Monti in the 16th minute of play. 20 minutes into the game, Alvise Monti cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Fulvio Nola was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Alvise Monti sent away a hard shot on goal in the 25th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 32nd minute, Ferdinando Zulli got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Alvise Monti's late challenge caught a Lilywhites's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Alvise Monti helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Lilywhites booed when Zurlo Team was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 33 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alvise Monti didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Alvise Monti had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 38th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. When Zurlo Team's Alvise Monti in the 40th minute got a chance for a shot 40th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Lilywhites's goalie prevented a goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Alvise Monti in the 44th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Fulvio Nola saved Lilywhites from getting behind. In the 46th minute Antonello Di Muzio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Demetrio Crosta saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Carlo Pasquale was the one to do the kick off. In the 52nd match minute, Zurlo Team was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Concetto Bassi to maneuver through the defense. The crowd rose to their feet as Zurlo Team's Alvise Monti slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Fulvio Nola. That made the score 1-2 after 59 minutes of play. After 63 played minutes Lilywhites got a freekick which was hit by Carlo Pasquale. A hard shot 68 in the game by Anselmo Cirigliano from a close distance when the talented Fulvio Nola managed to make a qualified save. Lilywhites's players were relieved. Ciro Riccitelli hit a great freekick 71 minutes into the match. Carlo Pasquale hit a great freekick 75 minutes into the match. Fulvio Nola showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Anselmo Cirigliano in the 77th minute of the match. Ciro Riccitelli charged in rather forcefully in the 80th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Ciro Riccitelli the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 80th minute, Ciro Riccitelli hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Zurlo Team's Eraldo Galante shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 81st minute of play. The shot was stopped by Fulvio Nola but with some difficulty. A collision led to Lilywhites getting a freekick after 89 minutes play. Antonello Di Muzio hit a great ball. After 90 minutes, Alvise Monti made it 1-3 with a short kick to the right side. Lilywhites's Fulvio Nola tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. After some fancy dribbling in the 95th minute, Alvise Monti managed to get in a good position for a shot. Zurlo Team's supporters rose to their feet, but Alvise Monti was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Fulvio Nola breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Zurlo Team's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
