Camillo Corna sent away a hard shot on goal in the 26th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The supporters of A.S. Udinese booed when Cesate was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 30 match minutes in a wonderful position. Franco De Marco didn't get a good kick on the ball. Udinese's protests and gave Biagio Balestra a yellow card for diving instead. When the match had gone on for 71 minutes, Biagio Balestra put it in 3-0 from a short distance just to the right of Ettore Masci. A.S. Udinese made a substitution. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. A.S. Udinese had played much better football throughout.
