In the 15th match minute, Seggiano was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dave Berardini to maneuver through the defense. Antonio Di Gennaro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Anfilogino Mazzini in the 16th minute of the match. The supporters of Seggiano booed when all players for sale was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 19 match minutes in a wonderful position. Davide Cilli didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Seggiano's Eraldo Giammaria in the 27th minute got a chance for a shot 27th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. In the 46th minute, Dave Berardini hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a rather tough play, Seggiano's Aldo Andreoli got a free kick in the 47th minute. Cesare Garofalo took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 48th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Antonio Di Gennaro. Seggiano's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Beppe Lozzi to strike the kick off in the second half. After 53 played minutes Seggiano got a freekick which was hit by Attilio Campoli. Aldo Diana charged in rather forcefully in the 60th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Aldo Diana the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Eraldo Giammaria in the 66th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Alberigo Clementi saved all players for sale from getting behind. Eraldo Giammaria took the ball and in the 70 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Alberigo Clementi. Alberigo Clementi dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. Alberigo Clementi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Eraldo Giammaria, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Anfilogino Mazzini received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 96th minute. Antonio Di Gennaro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Seggiano fans cheered their team off the field, for while all players for sale had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
