The crowd rose to their feet as Seggiano's Eraldo Giammaria slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Davide De Luca. That made the score 1-1 after 10 minutes of play. Eraldo Giammaria received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Davide De Luca came out and tried to block the shot, but Eraldo Giammaria slotted it home off the left post making it 2-1 in the 17th minute. After 25 minutes of play, San Michele AFC's Anfilogino De Matteis made it 2-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Antonio Di Gennaro was left in no man's land by his defense there! Antonio Di Gennaro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dino Liberati, who was totally free with the ball in the 30th minute. Amos Roberto's late challenge caught a Seggiano's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Amos Roberto helped the player get up and apologised. Amos Roberto kicked well hit freekick during the 32nd minute of the match. After having played for 37 minutes, Dave Berardini managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Seggiano's supporters crossed their fingers, but Dave Berardini was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 39th minute, Eraldo Giammaria managed to get in a good position for a shot. Seggiano's supporters rose to their feet, but Eraldo Giammaria was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Davide De Luca breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. San Michele AFC's Davide De Luca played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eraldo Giammaria in the 40th minute of play. Emanuele Evangelista's late challenge caught a Seggiano's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Emanuele Evangelista helped the player get up and apologised.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Eraldo Giammaria made a kick off. After 52 minutes, Aldo Andreoli mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Seggiano and the San Michele AFC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Aldo Andreoli kicked well hit freekick during the 52nd minute of the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Alfredo Talamo during the 87th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card.
