With 9 minutes on the clock, Corrado Malinconico commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. After 9 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for AC Civetta Notturna! When the match had been going on for 12 minutes, San Michele AFC's Franco Ragazzoni got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Alvaro Zaccardi. After 14 played minutes San Michele AFC got a freekick which was hit by Fedele Orsi. Davide De Luca made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Aldo Ruscitti in the 17th minute of play. 19 minutes into the game, Augusto Cauli was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. AC Civetta Notturna's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave San Michele AFC the free kick. Felice Domina fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 46th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Davide De Luca having to interfere.

The wind increased when Anfilogino De Matteis made the kick off in the second half. Amedeo Tacconelli received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 54th minute. Alvaro Zaccardi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Felice Domina in the 94th minute of play forced San Michele AFC's goalkeeper Davide De Luca to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
