Damiano Castagna tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Acilia Town's Damiano Castagna played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Achille Vittorio in the 19th minute of play. Achille Vittorio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 24th minute. Damiano Castagna tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A collision led to Acilia Town getting a freekick after 31 minutes play. After 32 played minutes, Old BaoBaB Accademy's Fortunato Coccolone shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Damiano Castagna came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Old BaoBaB Accademy reached it. Ermanno Capuozzi kicked well hit freekick during the 32nd minute of the match. 38 minutes into the game, Enzo Belfiore was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Old BaoBaB Accademy's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Acilia Town the free kick. The goalkeeper, Felice Bobbio, was totally fooled by Acilia Town's Armando Villa, who 38 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Achille Vittorio in the 43rd minute of play forced Acilia Town's goalkeeper Damiano Castagna to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Eraldo Cacciatore could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 74th minute of the match, but Damiano Castagna made a huge save. After some fancy dribbling in the 81st minute, Achille Vittorio managed to get in a good position for a shot. Old BaoBaB Accademy's supporters rose to their feet, but Achille Vittorio was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Damiano Castagna breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a rather tough play, Old BaoBaB Accademy's Eraldo Cacciatore got a free kick in the 87th minute. Achille Vittorio who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 90thth minute tested the skills of Damiano Castagna when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Old BaoBaB Accademy's Fortunato Coccolone was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Damiano Castagna in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. After having played for 97 minutes, Edoardo Schirone managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Old BaoBaB Accademy's supporters crossed their fingers, but Edoardo Schirone was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Acilia Town's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
