After 5 played minutes Aversa got a freekick which was hit by Damiano De Zorzi. 9 minutes into the match, Aversa's goalkeeper Flavio Fantozzi had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Anfilogino Gaeta. After a rather tough play, Squadra de Pippe's Fabiano Antonangeli got a free kick in the 12th minute. In the 14th minute, Squadra de Pippe's Ciro Biondi dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-0. Scofield Volante made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ciro Punta in the 17th minute of play. Scofield Volante showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ciro Punta, who was totally free with the ball in the 19th minute. Flavio Fantozzi made an important save on a dangerous shot by Augusto Marini in the 25th minute. Dino Saraceni hit a great freekick 29 minutes into the match. Flavio Fantozzi made a fantastic save in the 36th minute, when Ciro Biondi sent off a good shot on target. Ciro Biondi hit a great freekick 37 minutes into the match. Scofield Volante showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Francesco Gallucci, who was totally free with the ball in the 38th minute. Squadra de Pippe's Scofield Volante played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Emilio Oddi in the 40th minute of play. Fausto Del Gatto hit a great freekick 41 minutes into the match. Edmondo Pallotta recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 42nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The supporters of Squadra de Pippe booed when Aversa was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 45 match minutes in a wonderful position. Davide Reggianini didn't get a good kick on the ball. After recieving a nice pass, Squadra de Pippe's Antonello Molinari tried to score from far away in the 46th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Emilio Oddi made a kick off. Ciro Punta scored 1-1 in the 55th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Scofield Volante, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The supporters of Squadra de Pippe booed when Aversa was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 63 match minutes in a wonderful position. Damiano De Zorzi didn't get a good kick on the ball. 67 minutes into the match, Squadra de Pippe's Anfilogino Gaeta sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Flavio Fantozzi narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 69 minutes into the match, Squadra de Pippe's goalkeeper Scofield Volante had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ciro Punta. Francesco Gallucci's late challenge caught a Squadra de Pippe's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Francesco Gallucci helped the player get up and apologised. With a little luck, Squadra de Pippe's Scofield Volante got control of the ball when Emilio Oddi tried to sneak it across the goal line. Flavio Scalia hit a great freekick 77 minutes into the match. Emilio Oddi recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 80th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ciro Punta in the 83rd minute of play forced Squadra de Pippe's goalkeeper Scofield Volante to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a little luck, Squadra de Pippe's Scofield Volante got control of the ball when Ciro Punta tried to sneak it across the goal line. 93 minutes into the match, Aversa's goal looked a bit too open when Anfilogino Gaeta came free, but Flavio Fantozzi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Squadra de Pippe had won after a very even match.
