Spectators: 165 (Terracing: 124, Seating: 38, VIP seats: 3) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Guillaume Barillot took the kick off in the first half of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Steve Chauvel in the 4th minute of play forced Saint Côme de Fresné's goalkeeper Noël Clenet to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Joaquim Wallon took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Guillaume Barillot, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Guillaume Barillot received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Joaquim Wallon came out and tried to block the shot, but Guillaume Barillot slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 10th minute. After 16 played minutes U.S.Normande got a freekick which was hit by Dan Jousseaume. Gérard Chambard lost his temper 19 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. 19 minutes into the game, one of Saint Côme de Fresné:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Noël Clenet had in the 21stth minute some difficulties stopping Roman Bez's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. If Yazid Debuire had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 33rd minute Roman Bez shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Noël Clenet saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 34th minute, Roman Bez got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 36th minute of the match, Yazid Debuire got a very nice opportunity to score, but Joaquim Wallon was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. With a little luck, U.S.Normande's Joaquim Wallon got control of the ball when Guillaume Barillot tried to sneak it across the goal line. After 42 played minutes, U.S.Normande's Pierre-Emmanuel Laudet shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Noël Clenet came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in U.S.Normande reached it. A collision led to U.S.Normande getting a freekick after 46 minutes play. Roman Bez hit a great ball. In the 47th minute of the match Côme Durieu shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Joaquim Wallon showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Saint Côme de Fresné's Côme Durieu got a good chance for a goal in the 54th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Joaquim Wallon took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Guillaume Barillot, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Saint Côme de Fresné's Noël Clenet proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 59th minute of the match, managed to save Saint Côme de Fresné from getting a goal against them. Guillaume Barillot scored 2-0 in the 65th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Joaquim Wallon, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Côme Durieu recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 73rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a rather tough play, U.S.Normande's Pierre-Emmanuel Laudet got a free kick in the 79th minute. If Olivier Barnier had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. U.S.Normande's Joaquim Wallon played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Guillaume Barillot in the 91st minute of play. Saint Côme de Fresné's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
