Octave Baronnet showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Karim Cosme in the 16th minute of the match. In the 27th minute Noureddine Burgun shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sofyane Valognes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Noureddine Burgun in the 27th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Sofyane Valognes saved Rathmore Lime Tree from getting behind. Sofyane Valognes didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Mathias Serieys went, in the 29th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. In the 34th minute Karim Cosme shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Octave Baronnet saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, Rathmore Lime Tree's Karim Cosme got a free kick in the 37th minute. In the 38th minute, Éloi Le Calvez hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Rathmore Lime Tree made a substitution. Georges Labarthe replaced Paul-Henri Gayraud. 56 minutes into the match, Karim Cosme had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Octave Baronnet. Mathias Serieys might have been able to make a better finish in the 67th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Sofyane Valognes. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Mathias Serieys ran back to his position shaking his head. After 69 played minutes Royal PSG got a freekick which was hit by Jean-Marie Guichaoua. Félicien Gardelle kicked well hit freekick during the 70th minute of the match. Jim Belloir, 70 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. 75 minutes into the game, Fernand Rouland was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Rathmore Lime Tree's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Royal PSG the free kick. After 75 played minutes Rathmore Lime Tree got a freekick which was hit by Fernand Rouland. An unexpectedly hard shot by Adil Magaud in the 84th minute of play forced Royal PSG's goalkeeper Octave Baronnet to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Gildas Teinturier's late challenge caught a Rathmore Lime Tree's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Gildas Teinturier helped the player get up and apologised. After 84 played minutes Royal PSG got a freekick which was hit by Gildas Teinturier. Royal PSG's Octave Baronnet played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fernand Rouland in the 89th minute of play. 91 minutes into the match, Rathmore Lime Tree's goal looked a bit too open when Noureddine Burgun came free, but Sofyane Valognes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Fernand Rouland struck a weak shot in the 93rd minute. Octave Baronnet didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Rathmore Lime Tree.
