After having played for 3 minutes, Thibaut Mazieres managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. La Pointe Courte's supporters crossed their fingers, but Thibaut Mazieres was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 6 minutes into the match, Yann Scott notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of Ground Control's Josselin Portet. Josselin Portet was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The supporters of Ground Control booed when La Pointe Courte was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 10 match minutes in a wonderful position. Thibaut Mazieres didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 14 played minutes La Pointe Courte got a freekick which was hit by Jean-Pascal Hingant. John-David Bory hit a great freekick 17 minutes into the match. Josselin Portet made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Thibaut Mazieres in the 19th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dominique Virapin in the 20th minute of play forced Ground Control's goalkeeper Josselin Portet to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some careless play in the Ground Control defense, Yann Scott kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Josselin Portet. The Ground Control fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Josselin Portet should have stopped the shot. In the 34th match minute, Ground Control was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Just Bazoge to maneuver through the defense. Yann Scott could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 36th minute of the match, but Josselin Portet made a huge save. 37 minutes into the game, Alphonse Mathevet was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Ground Control's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave La Pointe Courte the free kick. Ground Control's defense didn't have a chance, in the 39th minute, when Dominique Virapin scored to the left of an out of position Josselin Portet, making the score, 3-0. After a defensive mix-up in La Pointe Courte's zone, Ronan Deal stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Sabri Fouquet came out of the goal and Ronan Deal tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-0 at half-time.

The wind increased when Yann Scott made the kick off in the second half. After 52 played minutes Ground Control got a freekick which was hit by Alphonse Mathevet. After a rather tough play, Ground Control's Alphonse Mathevet got a free kick in the 54th minute. 55 minutes into the match, Yann Scott notched a goal, 4-0, to the right of Ground Control's Josselin Portet. Josselin Portet was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Josselin Portet showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dominique Virapin in the 59th minute of the match. After 59 played minutes La Pointe Courte got a freekick which was hit by Raymond Lherbier. Youri Lignon kicked well hit freekick during the 60th minute of the match. Yann Segond's late challenge caught a Ground Control's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Yann Segond helped the player get up and apologised. Yann Segond kicked well hit freekick during the 62nd minute of the match. The supporters of Ground Control booed when La Pointe Courte was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 63 match minutes in a wonderful position. Yann Segond didn't get a good kick on the ball. Youri Lignon's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Sabri Fouquet read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 66th minute of play. In the 70th minute, Sofiane Donnat hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 71st minute, John Holmes left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The La Pointe Courte fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 5-0. Josselin Portet showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mathys Guigon in the 77th minute of the match. Josselin Portet made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Yann Scott in the 84th minute of play. 86 minutes into the game, Ronan Deal was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Ground Control's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave La Pointe Courte the free kick. Ronan Deal kicked well hit freekick during the 86th minute of the match. 87 minutes into the match, Ground Control's goal looked a bit too open when Mathys Guigon came free, but Josselin Portet reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Yann Scott in the 90th minute of play forced Ground Control's goalkeeper Josselin Portet to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Josselin Portet took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Yann Scott, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 96 minutes into the game, La Pointe Courte's John Holmes nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Josselin Portet made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 6-0.
