Spectators: 193 (Terracing: 146, Seating: 44, VIP seats: 3) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Philippe Wartel made the kick off which started today's match. 10 minutes into the match, Green Madness's goalkeeper Mourad De Barros had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Yann Scott. Dominique Virapin could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 11th minute of the match, but Mourad De Barros made a huge save. John Holmes received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Mourad De Barros came out and tried to block the shot, but John Holmes slotted it home off the left post making it 2-0 in the 14th minute. 18 minutes into the game, Yann Scott recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Mourad De Barros. Yann Scott showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 3-0. In the 21st minute, La Pointe Courte's John Holmes ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Mourad De Barros. Mourad De Barros yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 4-0. Noël Saliou received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 30th minute. Sabri Fouquet tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 37th match minute, Green Madness was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gérald Andres to maneuver through the defense. After 39 played minutes La Pointe Courte got a freekick which was hit by Yann Segond. Green Madness's Georges Piguet got a good chance for a goal in the 40th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Yann Scott scored 5-0 in the 44th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Mourad De Barros, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. If Yann Scott had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 5-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Yann Scott stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Mourad De Barros took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from John Holmes, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Mourad De Barros made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dominique Virapin in the 53rd minute of play. Dominique Virapin scored 6-0 in the 55th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Mourad De Barros, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. When Noël Saliou came up free with the goalie in the 60th minute, the Green Madness fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Noël Saliou couldn't finish the play. Sabri Fouquet made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Noël Saliou in the 65th minute of play. After having played for 66 minutes, Georges Piguet managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Green Madness's supporters crossed their fingers, but Georges Piguet was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 82nd minute, Yann Scott ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Mourad De Barros was frozen by the shot and now it was 7-0. Jean-Pascal Hingant charged in rather forcefully in the 86th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. After some fancy dribbling in the 91st minute, John Holmes managed to get in a good position for a shot. La Pointe Courte's supporters rose to their feet, but John Holmes was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Mourad De Barros breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Mourad De Barros made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mathys Guigon in the 92nd minute of play. In the 94th minute Mathys Guigon shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mourad De Barros saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
