Spectators: 170 (Terracing: 128, Seating: 39, VIP seats: 3) R.C. Marseille's Blaise Castera started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Thomas Gascon took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Léonard Beuve, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Arthur Receveur hit a great freekick 9 minutes into the match. Thomas Gascon made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Simon Collinet in the 11th minute of play. Thomas Gascon came out of the goal in the 15th minute to try and stop a shot by Avel Vat's Simon Collinet. But to his dismay, Simon Collinet quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Geoffroy Kayser hit a great freekick 18 minutes into the match. Through an outstanding action, after 20 minutes, Yves Amet successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Simon Collinet in the 23rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Thomas Gascon prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 27 minutes into the match, Simon Collinet had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Thomas Gascon. R.C. Marseille's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Simon Collinet was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. When the match had gone on for 39 minutes, Simon Collinet put it in 0-3 from a short distance just to the right of Thomas Gascon. Bakary Soula's late challenge caught a R.C. Marseille's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Bakary Soula helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of R.C. Marseille booed when Avel Vat was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 48 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bakary Soula didn't get a good kick on the ball. Disappointed in the 0-3 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Léonard Beuve made a kick off. After 54 played minutes R.C. Marseille got a freekick which was hit by Moïse Chauveau. After 56 played minutes Avel Vat got a freekick which was hit by Marco Nugues. The supporters of Avel Vat booed when R.C. Marseille was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 59 match minutes in a wonderful position. Omar Suchet didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpected shot in the 60th minute by Léonard Beuve got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. After 62 minutes of play, Avel Vat's Simon Collinet made it 0-4 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Thomas Gascon was left in no man's land by his defense there! 70 minutes into the game, Léonard Beuve recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Thomas Gascon. Léonard Beuve showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-5. The audience thought a goal was coming when Léonard Beuve got free with Thomas Gascon in the 77th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Thomas Gascon showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Simon Collinet, who was totally free with the ball in the 90th minute. After 95 minutes of play, Avel Vat's Léonard Beuve made it 0-6 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Thomas Gascon was left in no man's land by his defense there! Avel Vat's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
