Yves Amet showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Youri Lignon in the 15th minute of the match. Just Bazoge kicked well hit freekick during the 17th minute of the match. The supporters of Avel Vat booed when Ground Control was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 23 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sofiane Donnat didn't get a good kick on the ball. Marco Nugues kicked well hit freekick during the 25th minute of the match. Ground Control's Youri Lignon got a good chance for a goal in the 28th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Ground Control's attentive Sacha Amara managed to snatch the ball when Salim Pariset made a throw-in in the 29th minute of the game. Josselin Portet showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Léonard Beuve in the 37th minute of the match. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Youri Lignon made a kick off. After a rather tough play, Avel Vat's Aymerick Thellier got a free kick in the 52nd minute. Sylvain Chiffoleau struck a weak shot in the 53rd minute. Yves Amet didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ground Control. The supporters of Ground Control booed when Avel Vat was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 62 match minutes in a wonderful position. Noureddine Lacan didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some careless play in the Avel Vat defense, Youri Lignon kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Yves Amet. The Avel Vat fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Yves Amet should have stopped the shot. After 73 minutes, Côme Rouquette mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Avel Vat and the Ground Control players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Avel Vat's Côme Rouquette got a free kick in the 73rd minute. Youri Lignon sent away a hard shot on goal in the 80th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Josselin Portet showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Simon Collinet in the 82nd minute of the match. A collision led to Ground Control getting a freekick after 92 minutes play. Ewan Cuvier hit a great ball. The Ground Control supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Ground Control would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
