In the 10th minute Jérémy Coat shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ahmid Lamouroux saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, Cosa nostra Lyon's Matthieu Comte got a free kick in the 11th minute. When Anthony Verbrugghe came up free with the goalie in the 11th minute, the Les 3 Quilles FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Anthony Verbrugghe couldn't finish the play. After 13 played minutes Cosa nostra Lyon got a freekick which was hit by Matthieu Comte. Ahmid Lamouroux showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gameiro Reis in the 13th minute of the match. Gameiro Reis received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 16th minute. Ahmid Lamouroux tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Enzo Legoff showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Joël Delamare, who was totally free with the ball in the 20th minute. Yves Letertre came free with the goalkeeper in the 21st minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Ahmid Lamouroux could save by the left post. The audience thought a goal was coming when Jérémy Coat got free with Ahmid Lamouroux in the 28th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Enzo Legoff showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Pierre-Loup Pomies in the 32nd minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jérémy Coat in the 35th minute of play forced Cosa nostra Lyon's goalkeeper Ahmid Lamouroux to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 37 minutes into the game, Gameiro Reis lined in a short shot 1-1 behind a frustrated Ahmid Lamouroux. Ahmid Lamouroux stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Antonin Lardon's shot from short distance in the 40th minute. Gameiro Reis received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Ahmid Lamouroux came out and tried to block the shot, but Gameiro Reis slotted it home off the left post making it 2-1 in the 46th minute. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-1 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Steven Lebreton to make the kick off. Gameiro Reis fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 53rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ahmid Lamouroux having to interfere. Les 3 Quilles FC's Anthony Verbrugghe suffered a sprained foot after 54 minutes and couldn't finish the game. 54 minutes into the game, Léon Marchet was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Cosa nostra Lyon's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Les 3 Quilles FC the free kick. After a rather tough play, Cosa nostra Lyon's Léon Marchet got a free kick in the 55th minute. In the 60th match minute, Cosa nostra Lyon was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Pierre-Loup Pomies to maneuver through the defense. In the 64thth minute of the game Antonin Lardon who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Cosa nostra Lyon's Ahmid Lamouroux was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. When the match clock showed 65 minutes, the score became 3-1 when Antonin Lardon sped through Cosa nostra Lyon's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Ahmid Lamouroux. Gameiro Reis received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 71st minute. Ahmid Lamouroux tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 77 played minutes Cosa nostra Lyon got a freekick which was hit by Steven Lebreton. Steven Lebreton could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 87th minute of the match, but Enzo Legoff made a huge save. The supporters of Cosa nostra Lyon booed when Les 3 Quilles FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 91 match minutes in a wonderful position. Vincent Françon didn't get a good kick on the ball. Cosa nostra Lyon's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
