When the match had gone on for 25 minutes, Ronald Modeste took a quick shot and it went in 2-0 without a chance for Pierre-Antoine Joron to make any attempt to save it. After 27 minutes, Samir Mazaud mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Perthes United and the Chaponnay FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Chaponnay FC booed when Perthes United was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 27 match minutes in a wonderful position. Samir Mazaud didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 29th match minute, Chaponnay FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Hugo Denize to maneuver through the defense. Ronald Modeste was extremely unlucky when he, in the 31st minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. After a rather tough play, Chaponnay FC's Farid Walch got a free kick in the 39th minute. In the 40th minute, Perthes United's Billy Loy dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 3-0. Perthes United's Moïse Mouton played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hugues Delas in the 47th minute of play. Af the end of the first half the score was 3-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Matheo Gaborit to strike the kick off in the second half. After a rather tough play, Perthes United's Jean-Christophe Engler got a free kick in the 53rd minute. Perthes United's Moïse Mouton proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 56th minute of the match, managed to save Perthes United from getting a goal against them. Matheo Gaborit in the 58thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Moïse Mouton, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Pierre-Antoine Joron made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Billy Loy in the 61st minute of play. César Latil fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 71st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Pierre-Antoine Joron having to interfere. Pierre-Antoine Joron showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from César Latil, who was totally free with the ball in the 79th minute. In the 82nd minute Billy Loy shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pierre-Antoine Joron saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. César Latil received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 83rd minute. Pierre-Antoine Joron tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Billy Loy had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 84th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of Perthes United booed when Chaponnay FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 86 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mickaël Gamet didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ronald Modeste sent away a hard shot on goal in the 88th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Chaponnay FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Perthes United the free kick. Pierre-Antoine Joron showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Faustin Soret in the 93rd minute of the match. Bruno Thoraval hit a great freekick 94 minutes into the match. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Perthes United had won after a very even match.
