In the 22nd minute of the match Chaponnay FC got a corner. Perthes United's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Hugo Denize ran over to the corner to take the kick. A nice corner shot did that Hugo Denize got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Moïse Mouton quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Renaud Le Douarin hit a great freekick 25 minutes into the match. After 26 minutes of play, Perthes United's César Latil made it 2-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Pierre-Antoine Joron was left in no man's land by his defense there! 29 minutes into the game, Marius Questel was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Perthes United's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Chaponnay FC the free kick. 31 minutes into the match, Perthes United's goalkeeper Moïse Mouton had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Felix Baux. Felix Baux struck a weak shot in the 36th minute. Moïse Mouton didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Chaponnay FC. 43 minutes into the match, Perthes United's goal looked a bit too open when Aurélien Lair came free, but Moïse Mouton reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Moïse Mouton took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Aurélien Lair, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Pierre-Antoine Joron made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from César Latil in the 48th minute of play.

After 53 played minutes Perthes United got a freekick which was hit by César Latil. Moïse Mouton made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Aurélien Lair in the 56th minute of play. An unexpected shot in the 57th minute by Billy Loy got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Jimmy Willems during the 67th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Moïse Mouton showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Matheo Gaborit, who was totally free with the ball in the 70th minute. In the 73rd minute François Gillon shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Moïse Mouton saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 75 minutes into the game, Chaponnay FC's Aurélien Lair nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Moïse Mouton made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 4-1. Moïse Mouton made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Aurélien Lair in the 82nd minute of play. In the 87th minute, Aurélien Lair made a precise shot to the right of Moïse Mouton. Perthes United's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 5-1. A collision led to Chaponnay FC getting a freekick after 91 minutes play. Marin Geslin hit a great ball. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Chaponnay FC fully deserved thier win.
