In the 12th match minute, Águilas Poblanas was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Matias Eder to maneuver through the defense. 14 minutes into the match, Elpidio Chayo had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Freddy Naldo. PARNASOVFC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Elpidio Chayo was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. In the 16th minute Guillermo Leheren shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cornelio Mino saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Elpidio Chayo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 17th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After having played for 18 minutes, Elpidio Chayo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Águilas Poblanas's supporters crossed their fingers, but Elpidio Chayo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 20 minutes into the match, Águilas Poblanas's goal looked a bit too open when Segundo Cordearo came free, but Cornelio Mino reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ivan Perrando hit a great freekick 22 minutes into the match. Virgilio Monico sent away a hard shot on goal in the 25th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Freddy Naldo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Leonardo Pes, who was totally free with the ball in the 31st minute. Elpidio Chayo succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 2-0 in the 32nd playminute. Moises Nisio kicked well hit freekick during the 34th minute of the match. Cornelio Mino took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Eusebio Valery, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

Guillermo Leheren could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 53rd minute of the match, but Cornelio Mino made a huge save. After some careless play in the PARNASOVFC defense, Virgilio Monico kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Freddy Naldo. The PARNASOVFC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Freddy Naldo should have stopped the shot. When Matias Eder was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 58 minutes had been played. A collision led to Águilas Poblanas getting a freekick after 58 minutes play. Matias Eder hit a great ball. Eusebio Valery's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Cornelio Mino read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 59th minute of play. After a rather tough play, PARNASOVFC's Cristo Casado got a free kick in the 62nd minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Virgilio Monico in the 67th minute of play forced PARNASOVFC's goalkeeper Freddy Naldo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience was convinced that Virgilio Monico's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Freddy Naldo was relentless in the 67th minute of the game. Freddy Naldo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Virgilio Monico, who was totally free with the ball in the 75th minute.
