Spectators: 169 (Terracing: 127, Seating: 39, VIP seats: 3) Barbudos FC's Luciano Lawrence started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Barbudos FC's Cristian Ferrer played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Joaquin Soter in the 3rd minute of play. In the 4th minute, Luciano Lawrence hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some fancy dribbling in the 6th minute, Isidro Ihazintu managed to get in a good position for a shot. Astros de México's supporters rose to their feet, but Isidro Ihazintu was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Cristian Ferrer breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Cristian Ferrer made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Joaquin Soter in the 8th minute of play. After some careless play in the Barbudos FC defense, Celedonio Evangelista kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Cristian Ferrer. The Barbudos FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Cristian Ferrer should have stopped the shot. Cristian Ferrer showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Joaquin Soter, who was totally free with the ball in the 30th minute. 31 minutes into the match, Barbudos FC's goal looked a bit too open when Marcelino Bernal came free, but Cristian Ferrer reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Cristian Ferrer came out of the goal in the 33rd minute to try and stop a shot by Astros de México's Joaquin Soter. But to his dismay, Joaquin Soter quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-3. Apolo Elorri lost his temper 54 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. In a very dangerous position, a player in Barbudos FC fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 53rd minute. Penalty! In the 56th minute there was a penalty for Astros de México. Lucas Sidro stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Cristian Ferrer. 0-5. The supporters of Astros de México booed when Barbudos FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 59 match minutes in a wonderful position. Luciano Lawrence didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 61st minute Isidro Ihazintu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cristian Ferrer saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the match had gone on for 64 minutes, Isidro Ihazintu took a quick shot and it went in 0-6 without a chance for Cristian Ferrer to make any attempt to save it. Cristian Ferrer made a fantastic save in the 67th minute, when Marcelino Bernal sent off a good shot on target. After 69 minutes of play, Astros de México's Marcelino Bernal made it 0-7 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Cristian Ferrer was left in no man's land by his defense there! Barbudos FC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 74th minute, when Isidro Ihazintu scored to the left of an out of position Cristian Ferrer, making the score, 0-8. 81 minutes into the match, Astros de México's goal looked a bit too open when Luciano Lawrence came free, but Rigoberto Ilixo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Marcelino Bernal in the 92nd minute of play forced Barbudos FC's goalkeeper Cristian Ferrer to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Astros de México's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
